Trick or Treat

Well here is my Gumar MARIE. (I was callin her that all night.)
Aim had cheetah print UHH everything pretty much. She looked HOT!
We were crackin up gettin ready and I knew it was going to be a good night.

Paulie Walnuts rides again. I resurrected my favorite Soprano character.
Lots of laughs--

Aim also had a fake mink coat. Luigi fell in love with it and started going after it. Aim likes to think that Lou just wanted her to stay home for the night. I think he wanted to stay home alone with the coat if you know what i mean...

OHHH HI YOUS DUNE?

Marie with Billy(Bad Santa, Billy Bob Thorton) and Cece( The Karate Kid, Daniel Larusso)

Our friends Todd and Lauren Burger stopped by before the party with their 1 month old Tyler to see the costumes. Tyler was dancin to the music and chillin. They came in plain clothes. But somehow we talked Todd into putting on The Captain America outfit for a few pics. Aim and Lauren talked baby and wedding and the guys talked Star Wars..

FYI(for all you parents no one smoked around the baby--The Burgers are health freaks. Billy had the ciggerette for a prop)

The Future Mr. and Mrs. Walnuts

Guys night out

Thursday night my boys, Billy, Cece, Neal and Jonas took me out for my B-day. We went to my favorite spot Joes Stone Crab and seafood.(The same place we had our engagement dinner).

Billy and I were makin fun of the club going typical "Spacones" we had seen at Martini Park--

--A Little Help Here--

Friday night Kitt's boyfriend, Mike and I went to Fright Fest at Great America. We got on to ride the demon(which is my favorite ride). Just after the initial drop, the ride lost power and it shut down. Mind you that it was 50 degrees and drizzeling out, and it was 10:30 at night. After about 40 minutes of being stranded, 15 to 20 workers had came up and actually tried to push start the demon?

Mike and I were in the first car and we got evacuated off of it first. We got taken into guest services and offered free passes in 2008. I paniced a bit but that was scary. We thought it might have been a Halloween prank... Not so much--

DIN DIN at 9

Aim and went out for a nice romantic birthday dinner at a super nice place called 9--
Great food, way over priced, but nice.

Of course by the end of dinner I had made friends with the waiter, the owner and all of the bus-boys... They treated us to a glass of wine on the house.

DA BIRD

I was driving on I88 on Tuesday and I changed lanes in the path of this black Mercedes. As I was doing it the guy in the car started beeping and yelling. He was waving his arms and flippin me the bird.... So i changed lanes to return the favor back to the impatient driver, when i realized that i knew the guy.
He was glaring at me with a bright red face and trimmed mustached. He was chewin the biggest piece of gum i have ever seen a human chew.... I then realized that I had caused the greatest coach in Chicago history to have "Road Rage." That is right, it was "DA COACH" Mike Ditka.

So I did what any normal driver would have done.. I sped up and got next to him at 80mph and snapped a few pics.
MAN does his face get red when he yells! He looked like a tomato with a mustasche!

NICE TURN SIGNAL YA BUMMM!!

I'm 6 years old again

Sunday my parents opened up their house for my 28th birthday party. My parents, the Klucks, the Wooldridges, and my future In-laws came to PAR--TAY. Dad made my favorite Brajhholla with percitelli and Italian SAWSEEGA!

Aunt Joanne elaborates on a story about rotten pumpkins...PEEEYOOO
Dad was cracking up while he told a story- Daryl and Cooper were caught by surprise... Cooper is a pro by now. He was the center of attention...Lots of baby talk buddy!
Gavin has his way with Uncle Tony and has him put on the movie Dunston Checks In.

I had told my parents that I did not want "The Birthday song" and I did not want to open presents in front of people.....Looks like that didn't go so well!

FIGHT NIGHT take 77

Aim and I headed back out to the Gapastione-Wooldridge's house(sorry D). Not to baby sit this time, but to watch UFC 77. Daryl and Jerri are very good about opening up their house for pay-per-view events. It has really become our "thing", hangin with them for the fights.(Who said uncensored violence can't bring families together) We all enjoy watching it, and now the girls have started to critique the fighters as Daryl and I do--Funny

Also we have come to love THE PITA HOUSE. Daryl and Jerri get food from a restaurant near them which we stuffed our faces on tonight. DeeLish! Which is weird because I never thought neither Aim or I would like Arabic food? But when in Arabia!
Mochinny falabini hoyle kakka!(Thats fake arabic for That place is the shizzy!)

Adventures in babysitting

Friday night Jerri and Daryl had a wedding to go to. They asked Aim and I to watch the boys. I got there first and was able to feed Cooper... I was cracking up because of the faces he was making. Priceless--

Aim got stuck in traffic on the way there so for about 30 minutes I was on my own.
But Gavin is very smart and helped me with the dishes. He has really got his routine down, it is impressive.. For a 4 year old- or a 28 year old for that matter--

We watched the movie The Barnyard and ate rice pudding. Then Gav said "OK it's time for PJs" and slipped into his best scooby doos.

This cookie saved me for a while keeping Cooper busy

Sorry Libbie we didn't forget you--

Things Change

I was going through some old pictures tonight. I couldn't help but realize a couple of things. First how much my priorities have changed. About two years ago I was all about motorcycles and four-wheeling. We would ride for miles on the dried out river beds in New Mexico. I loved those times. I looked at the pictures though and remembered how different of a person I was too. Living 7 states away from friends and family. I think the bikes filled the void I felt for home.

Now that I am back in Chicago, yes I would like to go riding every now and then. But I barely thnk about it anymore. I love being able to hang with my family and friends(most of all Aim) any time I want. Also we are in full wedding planning mode. From cakes to flowers, she has become a machine. Not to mention that were just under 11 months and counting. "THE NUPTUIALS" we have come to call the big day is right around the corner.

So for now the 113 cubic inch engines and the table top pary jumps, will have to wait. But there is always the Bachelor party?

RYSKE Business

Saturday night Aunt Lynda and Uncle Bob treated Aim and I to an awesome dinner at La Vita--- Good calamari better muscles. We had a great time with them, we reminisced and talked wedding. Then they came back to our place and met Luigi-- he was more than happy to meet them for sure.

The tradition continues

Saturday "Big White" my truck broke down. As I was sitting waiting for the tow truck this little squirrel came by and I threw it my toast from my doggy bag. For what ever reason squirrels fascinate my dad, my brother, and me. All three of us call them "Chipper"-FUNNY

DA BEARS!

Bears beat the 4-0 Packers? It feels good to be a winner again.... But Of course this is Chicago so we cant get to excited. This pic was last year with Mike and Billy, the Bears had just beat the Saints and were going to the Super Bowl... Look how happy we all look--
