You can tell that he has done a bunch of juice but he looks good for 57

Gino's Feast

Monday my brother and I hung out a bit... We went and saw the movie The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Both of us really liked the movie. I would say that it was a buddy film that deals with realistic issue and that it shows you that it is never to late to live life to the fullest.

After the show AJ and I met up with my parents and The Wooldridges at Gino's East at the Ohare center(Aim could'nt make it because of work stuff). We ate a bunch of appetizers and then a couple pizzas. AJ was in town for a conference for a few days so we were able to spend some time together. It was was nice but AJ, like the rest of us were missin his Wife and Daughter. Wish they could have been here too. They'll be here in March though, so we are lookin forward to that.

Daryls family came in also from Indiana and His sister Anita was asked to be Cooper's Godmother and they asked me to be

RINGSIDE

Friday night Daryl, Billy and I went to Collision, a super card of MMA fights (18 fights) in Norhtlake. The kid on the front of the card (in the center) is Christian Rinoso, the Chicagoland light weight champ(former now). Jerri and Daryl have a friend that trains him. We had great seats ringside, unfortunately Rinoso lost. But he'll be back. We had a great time... and are lookin forward to the next one!

Before the fight we met my friends Richie and Nik the Hed at the Downers Grove Hooters. we had a bite to eat and hit the road-

This was one of the fighters, his name was Dale- His Mom was at the table next to us and he won by triangle choke in an earlier fight-

Rinoso gets a second for a low blow-

CLOVERFIELD

Since Popps and I are huge Sci-Fi fans; Sunday I went and saw Cloverfield with my parents. Watching it was very hard... It was shot with a hand held camera, there was also a warning that the film may cause motion sickness similar to that of a rollercoaster. They were'nt kiddin it was tough to watch... And the story was kind of slow and they really didn't even tell you what Cloverfield was. We all gave it 3 "K POOOTZES" not so much- not to mention that they started it 20 minutes late?BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- Wait for it to come on cable

Suburban House Sitting

Friday Aim and I got to house and dog sit for the Dowiarzs'. The
"Doctor" and Mrs. Dowiarz took advantage of the Martin Luther King weekend and headed to Vegas- So we spent the weekend in the burbs- It was nice how quiet it was(no construction sounds, no horns, or sirens off in the distance). Although Aim did get scared when I wasn't there and it was dark outside and the scary pizza guy rang the bell. But we had fun and would do it again.

At first Tuffy was annoyed with Lou but she put him in his place more than once- During the middle of the night they went at it, and Lou cried like a little girl-

By Monday they were sleepin on one another-

FIGHT NIGHT 80

Saturday Aim and I headed over to Jerri and Daryl's for UFC 80. My parents came by also and they brought Pasta Fazzzul. We had saasaga and pasta fazzzul not bad. They even stayed to midnight- (A Record)
What was even better was that we only had a 7 minute ride back to Elmhurst after the the night was over, It was nice.

If Gavin stops suckin his thumb for 21 days he gets a BIG present- 19 days to go- when asked what he is hopin for, he said "a real rocket ship"- Good Luck Daryl

We have managed to to make the big guy a UFC fan... Even though "these guys dont know what their doin"

Gav and Popps were watchin the terminator when we got there.. Better than Team America I guess

Lots of knock outs on this card and probably the bloodiest we've ever seen-

Gavinuch was showin every one how he can jump rope

Aim's in the nook

Grandma and Grandpa skype with the Cali-Gapps

Libby thought the fights were boring

Two birds one stone

Thursday and Friday i made the trip down to Bloomington-Normal IL. Joey's wake and funeral were taking place also I went to school at Illinois State University so we went around the old stompin grounds.

Here is where I lived for only a semester. My fraternity house.. I was a PIKE (PI KAPPA ALPHA) there I was taught to be a "SLAG" a Scholar, a Leader an Athlete and a Gentleman.. I also learned how to do keg stands and beer bongs lets be honest. I was a member for 3 years and was given the rank of Associate Educator my last semester-

909 W . Hovey the Pike house used to be an orphanage in the early 1900s.. it is said to be haunted (we would scare pledges with ghost sighing stories when they rush the house)

This is a pic of Watterson Towers at ISU... This, beside being the tallest building between Chicago and St.Louis... Is where Aim and I had our first kiss. Muhhwa

We stopped by a spot that we all used to, the Pub II. Joey loved this place, we went there all the time while I was in school and when I worked for his Dad. (Kimmy remember the bathroom?)

This is in the beer garden at the Pub II. GO BIRDS!

Richie, Jonas, and Billy all came down to pay our respects

Say it aint so

I received some sad news Monday... My long time friend and college roommate of 2 years, Joey O'Brien passed away suddenly. Those of you that remember I interned at one of his Dad's car dealerships and also worked there after for 3 years. I spoke with Joey's little sister Maggie she told me the news. The cause of his death is undetermined as of now.

Since Joey's Dad is the biggest auto dealer in central Illinois, the park where the Peoria Chiefs play is named O'Brien Field. he and i had some good times there in the summers I lived in Bloomington-

This is a pic of Joey and his little sister Maggie and I think her boyfriend-

I'll miss you Bro-
