Knickerbockers

Tuesday night Aim and I went to the Bulls game. Living so close to the United Center if tickets fall in our laps we just go... It is Literally not even 2 miles away. Plus they were playin the Knicks and I cant stand there coach Ishia Thomas and I really dislike Stephan Marbury too. It was a nice little date night-

You can't go to a Chicago sports anything without a classic hotdog.. No ketchup (Aim and Daryl)

Benny the Bull was out droppin t-shirts as always

The Bulls held the lead the whole game. We were ahead at least 6 points

Seats were great we were on the 2nd level it was nice! Very close-

In the final 2 minutes the Bulls blew it. Depressing but that is reality-

Dinner at the movies

Saturday Aim and I took a ride to the Rosemont Muvico. Muvico is a giant movie theatre that was just built. The thing that is so special is that Muvico has designed the place as a throw back to old style theatres(with new style pricing).
They have a balcony section called Premiere which is all rocking love seats. It was super nice they have a host who escorts you to your seats, giant fabric arms/end tables on either side of the seats. You can eat dinner while you're watching the show. The cost for each ticket was $15.00 but that was with free popcorn and parking so not bad-

The concessions stand had everything from red wine to gourmet calamari-
Aim and I had turkey burgers which were very tasty

We saw Juno which was a funny but unrealistic after school special meets artsy independence with offsetting comic relief. I thought that it would have been a great rental-

Change is good-

Some good news for Aim's professional life. Home Discovery has agreed to have Koenig and Strey handle all the advertising and marketing for them. This is great for Aim's splits and comisissions. Also there can be no missed opportunities with Koenig and Strey since there is a centralized office. She is excited for the change, her office will now be known as The Home Discovery Team of Koenig and Strey.

Oh please let it be true-

There is alot of buzz around the city that The Bears are going after Donovan McNabb for our new quarter-back. That would be a great thing, if it's true considering that we were in the Superbowl last year and this year we did not even make the playoffs- he may be able to lead us to the promise-land!

Bonzai New Year

This year we said good-bye to 2007 and hello 2008 at Japonais on the Chicago- Aim and I organized a party in the lounge there. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out... But it could not have went much better- The table space we had was perfect. They really went all out to decorate the place- The service was great and food was even better- No complaints really- Every one said that they would do it again next year- So Kudos to Aim for comin up with the idea=

They had the new year hats so every one was doin their best Michael Jackson impressions

Neal and his wife Coleen

Japonais has great sushi and we did some damage to the menu-
The food was coming in waves-

Backstreets back alright

Arizona Chris and Kimmy

Moonshine Mike and I- Also the hero of the night-He drove(sober) back to pick us up after we could not get a cab-Thanks Mike

Left to right Kim, Alexis(Kimmy Gibbler), Aim, Michelle, Kit(Eric's girlfriend)

What you see here is a shot of the our tables that we had. it was set up cabana style almost. Also we had a view over the Chicago River and it was snowing so it turned out to be a really nice spot-

No santa beard tonight

We had a big group but it all worked out- It was a great way to bring the new year in.

Last Game and Blog of 2007

Mike invited me to go to the Bears game Sunday. He and I got down to tail-gate at about 8:30 a.m. We hung out and made our way into the stadium at about 11:50 a.m. When we got in I received a call from Aim and she told me that she, Chris and Kimmy had scalped tickets and were on the Cadillac Club side. so at half time Mike and I made our way over there and I greased the guy at the club entrance and boom! The 5 of us got to watch the game together. It could not have worked out better- and a little bonus was the Bears won- Not bad!

It was getting very cold 21 degrees to be exact with the wind-chill. Chris and Kimmy being from Arizona were not likin it so we moved inside to the Cadillac Club.

The Bears were not looking good at this point

Just before Devin Hester ran one back

The Chrises and Mike and lots of blue-moon

After the game Kitt came and met us at The Boundary a spot around the corner from our place

This is the final blog of 2007- The year that I began blogging- The year we got engaged- The year I got a niece and a new cousin- The year Aim got her first brand new car- The year we got closer to one another and eachothers family-

We want to wish to all of our friends and family a Happy New Year 2008
