So today we chose the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club for the wedding! The space is very nice, the outdoor altar for the ceremony is right by a lake surrounded by trees which will be good for shade. We saw pictures of previous weddings held there....We were very impressed with how pretty they looked. Also the location is nice for every one, close to the city for us, and in the burbs for everyone else. It's close to 3 main highways, making it very accessible. Lots of parking and a beautiful property with plenty of scenery.
(We're not to crazy about the name of the place "The Bath and Tennis Club." I'm sure friends of mine will have a good time with that...But oh well the place is cool)
We decided on Saturday, September 13, 2008. We looked at so many places and this place felt right they have huge patios for cocktails, and a giant banquet hall that overlooks the ceremony. Also we really liked the fact that there are two bars on either side of the room and the food choices were better with the 2 choice option. so we are excited to have the date set. Now we can concentrate on the million other details that go into a wedding! Like replacing those ugly green chairs in the reception hall.

Wow---AMAZING PLACE! Great choice. As for the date, I'm not sure, we'll have to check our calendar. (ha, ha) September weddings are beautiful!
