Shannon McNamara

I got an E-mail from an old friend Frank. He told me that a site had been launched for my friend Shannon who was raped and murdered in 2001. www.shannonMCNamara.com Some of my family met her when i was in college. Check out the site if you want. I have read all the stories about it. She has inspired a book and a national organization call GIRLS FIGHT BACK. Her story led to the first and only Ju-Jitsu self defense for women in Newark, New Jersey.(Her college roommate was from there) Since her death in 2001 Girls Fight Back has helped thousands of woman fight off would be attackers. Cowards and scum of the earth like Anthony Mertz who sneak into peoples homes at night and rob them of their lives. He is on death row and will be executed in 2010. Not soon enough if you ask me.
It is truly a sad story, but Like Shannon always did you find the good in every situation no matter how awful they are. Shannon's Mom, Cindy told me at the funeral
that now Shannon is an angel looking over all of us... In a way she really is in that she has motivated women to "Fight Back" so that is a good thing.

MUSCLE Russell visits.. He is a male model in Miami, but mostly a bartender.... My good friend from School. I always make fun of his Butt chin... He was in Men's Health Magazine last month as the body of the month. Hilarious! HI KIMMY---What no comments?

Generations

First we rented this ride... I said it was the futuristic Adams family hearse. We drove to see my grand parents in Fallbrook, California on Sunday. This day was nothing short of perfect. Church, then champaign brunch(the best corn beef hash I ever had) then we went back to the Museum.. I mean the Mcullough Estate. Aim had never seen an orange tree before. We picked a bunch and snapped a pic... Aim looks hott! Finally we got measured by Grand-Dad Mickey to make the visit official. These are my only Grand-Parents, now Aim's only as well. We had a blast with them and look forward to keeping the connection. Thanks to them we have our first heirloom. Saweet!

WE ARRRRE LIIIIIVEE!

Aim and I had dinner at Ruth's Chris' steak house before the fight. Before we walked into the Honda Center, we saw "THE TAPOUT MOBILE" we watch the show on vs. all the time. Then we actually saw those guys from the show... The short guy with the bandanna in "Punkass" the dude withe the makeup is "Mask" and the guy with the afro is "SKY SCRAPE." Too funny these guys are characters. We also saw Tank Abbot former UFC Champ and George St. Pierre former champ being interviewed.
After the fight we hung out with a cool couple and apparently I can't take a picture without showing a fist now!(check out the Affliction shirt...Thanks Daryl and Jerri!)

The clouds roll in

This morning we woke to see RAIN? Today was to be a pool day...However we made the best and went to breakfast at the Marriot. While there we found that 2007 "WORLDS STRONGEST MAN" competition was going on. The meat head in the pic was the winner of some event. Miruisz Pszudinakinski apparently he is the best in the world. He is from Poland and was screaming to the crowd "Im best in worrrrld! Thanks GOD!" In a funny accent-- I got a pic while he was being interviewd by ESPN.

After breakfast I had to pick up some shirts from the front desk. We bumped into THE DEAN OF MEAN Kieth Jardine(Which I think he should change his name to "Grumpy") took a pic with him. Then Aim and I headed back to the hotel to watch the rain until we leave for the fight!

MOVIE--LAND

We did Universal Studios on Friday. We have both have been there before, but long ago. The tour was different but the PSYCHO house was still there. That is so cool to see that stuff. While on the tour we went through a sound stage and actually saw Jennifer Love Hewitt. Got a pic but it looks more like me than her so I did'nt post it. The pic of us and Beetlejuice is funny(mostly because all of you guys had turn your heads to see it)
